While most people were focused on Vernal Falls along the Mist Trail in Yosemite, I turned around to look down the valley instead. In the opposite direction were granite cliffs, white water, massive boulders and towering trees.
I think it’s difficult to portray the scale of Yosemite Valley, but I wanted to capture a small part of it away from the main viewpoints and focus more on the quieter, more authentic side of the park.
