About Me

I was brought up in a creative household, where experimenting with various art materials and mediums came naturally, leading me to study art. Over time, painting became my favourite way to produce work.

My connection with the outdoors grew alongside my creative upbringing. Being outdoors has always been a central part of my life, and after a 2016 trip to the Canadian Rockies, it strengthened a pull to be amongst elevated, mountainous landscapes. Since then, time in such places has become almost essential. It’s places like the Rockies, Norway, Northern California or New Zealand where I feel the most inspired to produce work.

I work with fluid acrylics, using blocks of colour, taking advantage of fast drying times to build layered depth and subtle detail. I usually focus on subjects that evoke the awe of vast, dramatic landscapes. My work is rooted in nature, but often hints that we’re part of it too.
