So far, the Golden Gate Bridge is the only piece of architecture I have painted. Having previously painted it from a different viewpoint, I really enjoy how the bridge’s perfectly straight lines and bold colour contrast with the surrounding Californian landscape.
I think this is my favourite view of the bridge. Standing near the Golden Gate Lookout, not far from Marshall’s Beach Park, it becomes perfectly framed by two huge conifers, creating a composition that immediately stood out to me.
